This is a little bit of the established part of how I work.
Daily Notes
Roam is my second brain, backed up on Dropbox. Anything can go on here with the prospect of easy topographic organising and tag filtering.
It has a sucky mobile UI, however, so I supplement it with Workflowy.
I have a Days list in Workflowy with each day as a sublist. Tasks, notes and other transient stuff go here for easy access on mobile or laptop app. The content is copy-and-pasted into the corresponding Roam daily note where it is linked and otherwise processed.
Reading
I read books on Kindle and make highlights there. These are picked up by Readwise for daily review and also added to Roam. My reading lists are managed with Goodreads although with some overlap by Kindle Collections.
Online reads come through Readwise Reader. This included newsletters – where possible – and articles clipped via the Chrome Extension.
